Partnership with PeaceNexus
We are very pleased to announce a new multi-year partnership with PeaceNexus on the theme open and diverse society. The joint project Cooperation for Organizational Strengthening strives to empower local organizations in order to play a leadership role in their contexts, support reforms in international organizations to enable locally-led action and to support partners to adapt how they work and collaborate.
One objective of this partnership is to pioneer organizational adaptation and new approaches to working at the nexus of biodiversity, conflict and peace. Biodiversity hotspots and conflict-affected regions often overlap. This presents a challenge, as conflict dynamics undermine nature protection efforts. Environmental and development actors are therefore seeking solutions that not only contribute to conflict resolution, but also protect nature.
Furthermore, this project will enable us to develop and test new methodologies for capturing impact stories and assess whether and how tailored support for organizational changes can leverage improved performance and impact.
