Project ideas wanted: for biodiversity in water bodies

Swiss water bodies and wetlands are diverse habitats and have an exceptionally high level of biodiversity. However, many of these habitats are threatened by pollutant inputs, obstructions and invasive species - and thus also the many aquatic animal and plant species that depend on these habitats.

The protection and connectivity of water bodies and wetlands are therefore central to the promotion of biodiversity. Somaha Foundation is looking for innovative and concrete project ideas to protect these habitats and their biodiversity and raise public awareness of this important issue.
