Retrospect of the SOMAHA ROUND

The 3rd SOMAHA ROUND focused on the topic of impact. Somaha Foundation presented its impact approach and demonstrated how its funding strategy, organization, and processes are consistently aligned with the foundation's purpose and theories of change. A special focus was placed on one of the three impact goals: generating context-independent knowledge - insights and experiences that can be applied beyond individual projects to other areas and industries.   

Following the presentation on the new focus topic, a panel discussion took place with Camille Accolas from Brainforest and Joëlle Spahni from AsyLex Global. They shared insights into their work and discussed the opportunities and challenges of impact measurement. It became clear how important it is to develop new approaches to tackle complex problems while at the same time preparing knowledge in such a way that it can also be transferred to other areas.
