New multi-year partnership
Somaha Foundation is pleased to announce a new multi-year partnership on the theme open and diverse society.
In the joint project Development and Implementation of a Learning Platform, an online coding school is being set up in and for conflict-affected regions. With the aim of strengthening economic independence and contributing to the social empowerment of participants, learning content for participation in the digital world is taught via a web-based learning platform. Students are also supported in their subsequent job search.
In conflict-affected regions, cultural conditions and structural obstacles sometimes severely restrict educational opportunities, especially for girls and women. In addition, there is a lack of digital infrastructure, such as a lack of internet connection or access to technical devices. These challenges prevent access to education and exacerbate existing educational inequalities.
To tackle these challenges, the project promotes the development of a safe and robust learning platform for girls and women and provides the necessary infrastructure.

The multilingual learning environment aims to make technical education accessible to as many people as possible. The possibility of offline use also ensures access in areas with limited connectivity.
